My PIVX Wallet v2.1.1 Released!

🔧 Primarily acting as an end-of-year bug hunt, this Patch consists of almost a dozen bug fixes and minor UX improvements.

🦊 The priority patch was a Firefox-specific syncing bug, seemingly caused, by our research; as a result of a bug in Firefox's Gecko engine, we’ll likely run more tests and confirm this, but if so, this may be a Firefox CVE, a fun find for what originally seemed like a My PIVX Wallet bug.

❄️ The second urgent fix was the ability to “Unlock for Staking”, which suffered a regression in v2.1 causing an inability to unlock the wallet during Staking actions.

Additionally; almost a dozen minor bugs were fixed; Governance tab looks nicer on iOS, the Wallet Export UI received some polish and export format fixes, PIVX Promos had an additional cleanup to re-add CSV exports, reduce horizontal UI overflows — and XPub exports now come with a privacy warning attached.

💜 All this to say; v2.1.1 is our final patch of the year, with that, the MPW experience should be smoother, and we’ll continue our journey as PIVX's most powerful and stable wallet, in 2025.

My PIVX Wallet v2.1 Released!

🔥 With 30x faster Shield Synchronisation, full Shield support in the Activity list, and a beautiful notifications redesign - MPW v2.1 is the final major release from PIVX Labs in 2024.

This update largely focuses on finalising Shield functionality for similar use to the PIVX Core wallet, namely, to reach “Feature Parity”, making My PIVX Wallet the first light wallet in the world to support the full functionality of a zkSNARKs cryptocurrency.
